Virgin Active Moses Mabhida expands their outdoor offering
Thursday, 5 July 2012: Celebrate the magic of the outdoors at the Moses Mabhida Classic club with the new KTM mountain bikes.
The Moses Mabhida club is one of two Classic Health Clubs in the South African Virgin Active family. This is another world-class addition, boosting the Virgin Active extras and a luxury offering in the exercise environment. The outdoor cycling offer includes the newly launched KTM Ultra 3.29 mountain bike for members to use around the vicinity of the club.
Says Zeyd Sulaiman, National Equipment Manager at Virgin Active in South Africa, “Based on the success of the first bikes placed at the Moses Mabhida Club, we felt the need for an upgrade in the bicycles and an offering to suit the need of the Durban market. Through regular proactive contact with members, we look at our offering and where necessary adapt it to meet their needs. The Moses Mabhida club offers members the ultimate gym experience as well as a place to recharge their batteries and take a long easy ride down the promenade with the family.”
The choice was a synergy between champion brands to promote healthy activities for both individuals and families who want to take their exercise outdoors. Assessing the needs of the members and offering a product that lends itself to these needs whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle. The club, which features similar décor styling to the Virgin Active clubs in Italy, boasts a 25-metre lap training pool with three lanes and members will appreciate the addition of poolside shower cubicles. Glass shower cubicles have also been installed in the change rooms and keyless digital combination locks to store their valuables have been added.
Internet stations fitted with the latest Apple Mac computers, Wi-Fi connectivity in the lounge and boardrooms for business meetings makes this the perfect place to mix business with pleasure.
